Katey Sagal
A talented, versatile performer, Katey
Sagal is a skilled singer and actress who excelled at comedy and drama. She was
most well-known for her role as Peg Bundy, a dazzlingly bold, unmistakable
character from Fox's Married... with Children (1987). In the course of the show
she was nominated two times for American Comedy Award and three Golden Globes.
As popular and identifiable as her Peg Bundy persona was, Katey assertively
moved on when the show ended its run on the air, not just starring in other
sitcoms and television movies, but playing characters that were complete
opposites of the outrageous role that initially brought her national
recognition. In 2008 she played the character in the role of Gemma Teller
Morrow (the matriarch of the Hell's Angels-esque California motorcycle group)
on Sons of Anarchy (2008). The character she played earned her a Golden Globe
Award in 2011 for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series--Drama.
Catherine Louise Sagal was a child of Sara Zwilling, a director and singer, and
Boris Sagal - renowned television and film directors. When she was five she

the 1970s group KISS. In the meantime she gained invaluable experiences as a
backup singer for Simmons as well as other well-known stars such as Bob Dylan,
Olivia Newton-John, Etta James, and Tanya Tucker. When Bette performed her
avant-garde stage shows in the latter half of the 1970s and into the early
