Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching (born March 28, 1977) is an American actress best known for her part as Renee Walker in the American television series 24 as well as her voice work and motion capture for the character Tess in Naughty Dog's video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis, Missouri and was raised there. She graduated in 1995 from Crossroads College Preparatory School. During her youth she took part in Irish dance and belonged to the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which she earned in 1999. Wersching's acting debut was the role of a guest in Star Trek: Enterprise. Later, Wersching was invited to appear on guest shows like Charmed and Killer Instinct. From March through November 2007, she was the main character as Amelia Joffe on the ABC Daytime soap show General Hospital. She also appeared in theaters such as Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire, and the Utah Shakespearean Festival.Wersching played FBI Special Agent Renee Walker in the seventh and eighth seasons of 24.After her two-season run on 24 Wersching was a guest on several shows which included CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli & Isles, Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof, Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries and Touch (which has her 24 co-star Kiefer Sutherland). She also was a regular on Bosch, an Amazon Prime crime-show Bosch in 2014. Wersching played the National League's catcher on 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. In December 2012, it was revealed Wersching played the voice actor and mo-cap actor of Tess in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us. The character was teased on Geoff Keighley's twitter account prior to when she was made public in the story trailer which was shown on the Spike Video Game Awards on December 7th, 2012.In September 2021, it was announced that Wersching would be playing the Borg Queen in the second season of Star Trek: Picard.
