Priyanka Chopra Biography

Priyanka was born in Jamshedpur (India) on July 18 1982. When she was at high school, Chopra won the Miss India pageant. She shortly after that won the 2000 Miss World pageant as well. Following her international triumph, Chopra decided to pursue the field of film and became an important celebrity in Bollywood. She made a splash on American television through the FBI drama Quantico which ran from 2015 until 2018 and made headlines due to her wedding to actor and singer Nick Jonas in December 2018. In 2003, she starred in her debut Bollywood film, The Hero: Love Story of a Spy. She also appeared in Andaaz that year, which launched an array of films that included Plan, Kismat and Asambhav. These films didn't have a great time at the box office , Chopra was successful with her romantic comedy Mujhse Karogi. At the age of 20, Chopra made her debut in the 2002 film Thamizhan and followed it the very year with Jeet the Born to Win. Chopra admitted that her debut film was an awful experience. "I wanted it to end when I was done with it!" "I did not know what was going on." Nick Jonas, actress and singer-actor has made their relationship public in the summer of 2017. The news of their engagement broke in late July, with Jonas said to be proposing on Chopra's 36th birthday. They were married during an extravagant, multi-day celebration which started on December 1, 2018.
